Dear Mr. Jones:
I am asking that you, as principal and executive officer of the school, report in writing in detail every thing of which you have any knowledge which led up to, was part of, or has arisen out of the refusal of students to attend classes at the R.R. Moton High School on April 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27. Also, please advise what steps you and your faculty have taken toward bringing about the return of these students to their classes, and what disciplinary measures have been, or will be taken by you and your faculty.
I understand that a meeting of the parents was held Thursday night, April 26. Please also report what action was taken at this meeting,
You will please have this report in my hands not later than 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 1.
